Financeful Luxury covers some of the most expensive purchases people make: aircraft, yachts, cars, watches, jewelry, travel and property. Readers rely on the numbers we publish, so accuracy comes before everything else. This page explains how our articles are researched, checked and corrected.
How we research
- Primary sources first. Specifications, prices and dates come from manufacturers’ official announcements, regulatory certifications, auction-house results and recognised research reports wherever possible.
- Cross-checked figures. Key numbers are checked against at least one other reliable source. If sources disagree, we use the official figure or explain the difference.
- Sources you can check. Every article ends with a list of the sources we used, so readers can verify the information themselves.
- No guesswork. If we cannot verify a figure, we leave it out rather than estimate it.
How our articles are produced
Articles are researched and drafted by the Financeful Luxury editorial desk with the help of AI research and writing tools. Every article is fact-checked against its sources and reviewed and approved by our editor before it is published, and published under the name Financeful Luxury Editorial.
Prices and market data
Prices, values and market figures change constantly. We always state what a number represents — for example a manufacturer’s launch list price, an auction result or a market estimate on a given date — and we date-stamp market data so readers know how current it is.
Not financial advice
We explain markets, values and costs, but nothing we publish is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Articles about the value of assets describe past or current conditions and are not recommendations to buy or sell. See our Terms of Service.
Independence, sponsorship and affiliate links
- Brands do not pay to be covered, and they do not review or approve our articles before publication.
- Any sponsored content will be clearly labelled as “Sponsored” at the top of the article.
- If we use affiliate links in the future, we will disclose them in the article.
- Images supplied by brands will be credited to them.
Images
We only publish images we have the right to use. Rather than use generic stock photos or artificial images of real products, we publish some articles without photography until properly licensed images are available.
Corrections and updates
If we get something wrong, we fix it. When a correction changes a fact or figure, we add a short correction note at the end of the article with the date. We also review articles when significant new information becomes available. To report an error, email contact@financefulluxury.com with the article title and the information you believe is incorrect.
